In many of the regions where we work, openly sharing faith is dangerous, even life-threatening. The digital mission field allows us to go where traditional missionaries can’t, meeting people in the privacy of their own screens and connecting them with trained volunteers who walk alongside them in faith.
The secret to our approach is simple but powerful: we combine the extraordinary reach of digital technology with the irreplaceable warmth of real human connection.
Every person who responds to one of our Gospel messages has the opportunity to connect with an Online Missionary—a trained volunteer who listens, encourages, and provides personalized guidance on a journey of spiritual discovery and growth.
Spiritual formation doesn’t just happen. We measure it every step of the way, ensuring that your support drives real impact for the Great Commission. At ExploreGod, discipleship journeys are designed around 8 spiritual growth milestones, which are measured by tracking seeker/OM conversations securely through our PATH application.

While clicks and views serve a purpose, a key focus at ExploreGod is verified spiritual journeys. A spiritual journey—or discipleship journey—is only recorded after seven back-and-forth messages between a seeker and ExploreGod or an Online Missionary. A spiritual journey should demonstrate clear movement from initial curiosity to demonstrated desire for spiritual growth.
Transparency is essential for ExploreGod. Our metrics are shared with global partners and reviewed by independent evaluators to help define the gold standard for digital discipleship. We track progress against a rigorous, biblically-grounded framework.
When it comes to our measurement of “success,” we want to see the seeker become the teacher. We continue to track the process until a new believer begins leading their own community. Our goal is to turn every digital connection into a local movement.
